One of the most unique places you can snorkel on Maui is actually off Maui, on Lana’i! Just 8.8 miles across the channel is the Pineapple Isle – Maui’s closest neighbor island. Now home to two opulent resorts with their own golf courses, Lana’i used to be agricultural land for the world’s largest pineapple plantation. Long before that, it was one of the banishment sites for Maui’s lawbreakers.

Today, the Quicksilver catamaran’s Lanai snorkeling tour gives you the chance to visit this amazing place! Lanai offers incredible snorkeling destinations and marine life. While aboard Quicksilver, passengers often encounter spinner dolphins, who jump and twirl in the air! Lanai is home to a huge pod of over one hundred of these social marine mammals.

Lanai snorkeling sites are located beneath towering cliffs more than three hundred feet high! As you can imagine, the photo ops are just unbeatable. Few people in the world ever snorkel these remote areas like Manele Bay and Shark Fin Rock, each with visibility of up to one hundred feet.
