Along the trail, you'll discover Kaiaka Bay, where two historic streams merge, inspiring our town's name, "Waialua" – a symbol of unity.
During your visit, prepare to be greeted by charming farm animals at our petting zoo. You can even participate in feeding them! And don't miss the fascinating history of Waialua, renowned as the home of the world's finest sugar. It's a humble slice of heritage that will truly captivate you.

Itinerary:
1. Arrival at North Shore Stables and welcome by our friendly staff
2. Introduction to our well-trained horses and safety briefing
3. Begin the trail ride through scenic farmlands and coastal paths
4. Stop by Kaiaka Bay, where two historic streams unite
5. Visit our petting zoo and feed the adorable farm animals
6. Learn fascinating facts about Waialua's history
guidelines for attire and safety:
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Long pants and sunglasses recommended
- Helmets provided and required (included in the price)
- Backpacks, bags, and bulky camera equipment not allowed on horseback
Age & Weight Requirements:
- Participants must be 10 years or older
- Weight limit of 200 lbs (exceptions can be made for up to two riders)
- Mules available for riders over 200 lbs
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes BEFORE your scheduled reservation time. Your Horseback Trail Ride’s departure will be at your exact reservation time. Mahalo for your understanding!
Child care services are offered for groups with children under 10 years old who are unable to join larger groups on a trail ride. Children will be supervised by a licensed childcare professional and can spend time at the petting zoo. The service charge is $50 per child.
