Couldn't ask for more. Our crew was very professional, polite, and funny. We left Kona Harbour and spotted our first humpback whales within 20 minutes. The captain expertly tracked the whales for the rest of our experience and we were fortunate to have the whales surface multiple times within meters of us. We could see the whales through the crystal clear water. It was well worth the money.

Highlight of our trip! We loved everything about the whale watching cruise. The crew are knowledgeable, professional and extremely friendly. They are experts at finding whale activity and ensured we always had the best views while taking care not to disturb the whales, which we really appreciated. Naturalist Caroline was wonderful and provided interesting and entertaining commentary throughout the cruise. We highly recommend Body Glove!

Beautiful Breaching! The crew aboard The Body Glove whale watching boat was fantastic. After checking in on the pier, we boarded the boat (folks move between upper and lower decks). Lower deck gets you vlose up shots and upper deck gets you distance viewing. Mayara (bartender) was welcoming and gracious. My family watched 2 pairs of mothers and calves just offshore. It was fantastic!

This adventure did not work for us :( Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. We went in the afternoon. Not the best time. The water was choppy and we got sea sick which is not normal for us. We had a much better experience on the Deluxe snorkel seal boat the next morning. In that trip we saw a few whales! It was a much better experience.

Whale Season day two As Dec 15th was only the second day of whale season in Kona, I was pleased that we were able to find two juveniles swimming close to shore.
We found them quite quickly and stayed with them the entire tour.
It was pretty apparent that they were not going to do much more than come up for air and then dive back down below the surface so it would have been nice to have moved on to try to locate some other whales that had been spotted more south.
All and all it was a good experience and I would recommend Body Glove for your whale watching excursion.

A bucket list must-do! The staff was great! Very attentive and friendly. Captain Bob obviously wanted to create a memorable experience as he made several course corrections to help the passengers get great new views. He didn't rush us back to the harbor when, at the last minute, we saw more whales in the distance and took us in closer to see them. Dennis was our naturalist and seemed just as amazed by these animals as we were! This is someone who truly loves his work. We were fortunate to be "visited" by a curious whale more than once up close. Great trip overall!
