In a 5 range scale, it's a 10! Awesome! Good price, qualified and professional crew, and an totally awesome experience! I do recommend everyone visiting the island to do that. You can see plenty of colorful fish. You get snacks, juices. The music is fine, not too loud. Perfect 👌💪💙🌈🌊🐠🐟

Coral Gardens and Snorkeling Amazing ride on board of Malolo. A lot of gift shops at Maalea Harbor. The Ocean Center is right next door!A bunch of sea life in the Coral Gardens. A bit disappointed that we couldn't do Molokini, but I understand that we wouldn't see anything anyway. Coral Gardens is still beautiful tho.

Pretty good snorkeling, coral was impressive. The views were amazing. The star of the show was the live coral. We weren't able to do Molokini because of ocean conditions. We actually saw fewer fish and fewer types of fish than we did snorkeling from shore, but the ability to dive down if you wanted to and also the coral itself were far more impressive than what you'll see snorkeling from the beach.

Family snorkel excursion The overall trip was great. Boat staff was very nice, very helpful. The spot they took us was beautiful, however we were pretty disappointed in the lack of sea life we saw. I know in a lot of ways that’s a little hard to actually control, but none the less we’d seen more on our own at the near by beaches we’d traveled to ourselves. The coral reef was beautiful to look at however. Hot dogs and chips were served for lunch after the snorkeling part was over, which was nice since we were definitely hungry afterwards. Mai tai’s on the boat were pretty good as well. Our teenage girls had a great time and that certainly made us happy and made the excursion worth it. Would recommend if you want a tour at a very reasonable price.

Great afternoon snorkeling We went on the afternoon snorkel. The water was pretty rough so we had to go to a different location. Still beautiful and looks of ocean life to be seen. Crew was friendly and fun.

Choose the early morning tour if you want to go to Molokini If you have your heart set on going to Molokini then select the morning tour, during the week we were in Maui the winds picked up in the afternoon and it was too rough to go over to Molokini. We did not realize this and booked the afternoon trip. Wish we had gotten up early for the morning tour - although there is no guarantee that the morning trip will go - it really depends on the weather. Snorkelling at Coral Gardens was very average, we could have easily just rented snorkelling gear and gone to a beach and seen just as many fish. We did not see any turtles there. The lunch is hot dogs and a bag of chips. So if you aren't into hot dogs then definitely bring a snack. Make sure you bring tip money - we were told 3 times that we needed to tip - they recommend $10 per person. We had trouble finding the initial meeting spot (I went through my emails and couldn't find the directions) so arrive early so you have enough time to find the group.

Great Snorkel Outing The excursion was very well organized, and well run. I very much appreciated that they offered a veggie burger option in place of the 'hot dog lunch' served on board. ;) The Coral Gardens snorkeling site was great, and we were so happy we could use our own equipment and just 'jump in' off the side when we were ready instead of having to wait for those who were uncertain/inexperienced to make their way down the ramp with help. (We've been on outings where we spent significant time having to queue and wait for others to muster the courage to get in....thanks for individualizing the experience so they had that time and we could just JUMP!). Appreciated that they had a fresh water source on board to rinse off when we got out of the salt water! Got REALLY lucky and had a mother whale and her baby come up close and personal for us to observe and take pictures on they way back, even though that was NOT the intention for this excursion: BONUS! :) The location was easy to get to via Uber from near the ship port, and the captain was mindful of our schedule and returned promptly to the marina so we would make it back to our ship in time for our all aboard time. Would definitely recommend this outing.

Great trip!! Best value for the money. Best value for the money!! Great trip. The seas were rough but once we got to Coral Gardens the water was calm and perfect for snorkeling. (1.5 hrs at the closer Coral Gardens). Excellent crew. We had a great time. Parking is $10 at the large harbor lot. Can rent wet suits onboard so don't need to pre reserve. Hot dogs on the way back after snorkeling so late lunch. Suggested tip at end of trip was $10 per person. Perfect so we didn't have to guess.
