On the 2-hour Electric Mountain Bike Tour (Novice Level) you will cruise through Kualoa’s valley roads, pastures, and trails on an e-Mountain Bike. While you still have to peddle, these state-of-the-art eBikes have a small electric motor that gives you a boost up the hills and throughout the ride, making for a fun, active and eco-friendly experience getting out into nature. Our novice experience travels ~6 miles through Kualoa and Ka’a’awa valleys, making 4-5 stops along the journey, providing great photo ops and beautiful views. We’ll have your bike adjusted for you, and begin with a safety assessment and short practice ride before starting the tour.

E-bike tour Had a great time on this e-bike tour! It really is all fitness levels welcome, you still have control of the gears and can make the bike do as much or little of the work as you'd like. Was first thinking about doing the UTV tour. But glad we chose this one instead. Still got to some of the same sights but got to enjoy the grounds a bit more. Lily our guide was awesome. Super welcoming and knowledgeable. Makes you feel real comfortable on the bikes and even gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our vacation.

Needed a better tour guide Tour guide was not very engaging and did the minimum to get us through the stops. I expected her to give us more background on the ranch or some of the movies, anything to make the tour more colorful. She also seemed impatient with some who had trouble adjusting to thebikes.

Great Experience with eBikes We booked this after the UTV Tour sold out, but ended up having a wonderful time. My kids saw the UTVs go by and said they were enjoying the e-bikes more than they would riding in a UTV. That was great to hear because the UTV tours are always highly rated. We are a family of 4 with kids 12 and 14 years old. The e-bikes makes this effortless, so no need to be worried about your family keeping up. Will, our guide, was fantastic. We aren’t avid movie watchers and only saw the first Jurassic Park, so I was concerned we weren’t the target audience for this tour. Either way, you will still enjoy Kualoa Ranch. The scenery is beautiful. They do share some info about the films that used this location, and some brief WWII history, but that is no way the focus of the tour. It’s a gorgeous site to see with plenty of time to take photos of the family. I was also pleasantly surprised that there were no hidden fees - no photography upsells, no charge for a dry bag to house your personal belongings on the bike, and no tip requested at the end. We voluntarily gave a cash tip, but it certainly wasn’t expected or requested. Also, if you are a veteran, take advantage of their reduced rates for military. I would highly recommend this package.

Loved every minute! Loved it! I am a huge Jurassic Park fan and, whilst my husband and I are both road cyclists, he also likes to get out on his mountain bike so this suited us both. I opted for the novice tour but, realistically, we could have done to advanced tour I think. Our tour guide was Jessica and she was brilliant! There were a couple of no shows for our tour so there were just 3 of us in our group so we got to spend a little longer out on the tour as we kept up a good pace. This also meant that we got to see all the bits we wanted to see that you might not always have time for. It had rained quite a bit the day before and we had a few showers so it was muddy but we still had fun. I am only 5’2 so can struggle finding bikes small enough but there were a few extra small and I had no trouble at all riding them. The real bonus for me was that Jessica fitted a 360 camera to her helmet and did a few videos for us which she shared with us at the end. It was an unexpected added touch that was really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Just barely ok First don’t weigh an ounce over 250 or it’s a no go. That part I understand, insurance liability reasons. But over all a bit boring, you actually bike about 40 min of the 2 hrs and the rest is talking nature which is ok it’s just not us

Fun, beautiful electric bike tour of some movie locations. This experience was a highlight of our vacation in Hawaii. Bored with the usual walking/ hiking options, we tried the novice level electric bike tour, and booked a few days in advance in order to secure good weather and lucked out on being the only group for our time slot so we had a "private" tour. Our guide (forgot his name, sorry) was chill and was training a female to help lead our tour too. He was very patient with us, as we had varying speed/ biking skills and always checked on our comfort and happiness levels during the tour. He was exceptional in taking photos/ videos of us and suggesting poses, which really made for fun and fantastic photos on the iPhone that we would never have received. You may find the tour somewhat short if you do not spend much time taking photos of the specific locations they take you but he was open to us biking around more if we wanted to do that. Solid, working bikes; the helmets were dirty all around though. Tip these young adults who work here when you are done because they work really hard to give you Kualoa info, make sure you are safe, and support your having a good time. Not cheap but worth it. Beautiful location. Easy parking. Fantastic photo memories (so did not have to buy expensive souvenirs)!

Great tour, would recommend! Shout out Fallon! She's a great tour guide and won't let you down. This was a great experience and we both loved it. I really enjoyed the stops to take pictures with the cool movie scenes.

Not worth the money, very disappointed. Very disappointed with this trip. Super expensive and we xould have walked it quicker. Not that we were in a rush but the point of doing a bike ride tour is to ride the bike.Feel like they stretched it out as much as possible so they could change more.If you are looking for a bike ride this is not the tour for you. If you are looking to do a tour not sitting on a bus then this could work.

E-Bike is the way to go! The e-bike tour is the way to go! Others were going on the UTV (you have to reserve them weeks in advance) or horseback. I made my reservation for the e-bike tour the same day. My wife and I got to the ranch and check-in and was told we were the only ones signed up for that tour! SCORE! It was basically a private tour. We watched a safety video then practiced with the bikes. After about 5mins of practice we were on our way. Our tour guide, Christian, was AMAZING! He was hospitable and knowledgeable. We took our time at each site because it was just the 3 of us. My wife was pregnant and easily traversed the hills and offroad areas. We never broke a sweat with the assisted pedal e-bikes. The tour lasted about 2hrs. The UTVs weren't able to go where we went on the bikes and they couldn't talk while driving because the UTVs are too loud. We were able to ride and have conversations. I can't thank Christian enough for being such an awesome guide.
