Itinerary

On the 2-hour Electric Mountain Bike Tour (Novice Level) you will cruise through Kualoa’s valley roads, pastures, and trails on an e-Mountain Bike. While you still have to peddle, these state-of-the-art eBikes have a small electric motor that gives you a boost up the hills and throughout the ride, making for a fun, active and eco-friendly experience getting out into nature. Our novice experience travels ~6 miles through Kualoa and Ka’a’awa valleys, making 4-5 stops along the journey, providing great photo ops and beautiful views. We’ll have your bike adjusted for you, and begin with a safety assessment and short practice ride before starting the tour.

The views! The views on this ride are beyond amazing. The novice tour is great for anyone without extensive riding experience. The ebike motor makes it very simple for anyone not wanting to expend a lot of energy.

Amazing views and fun E-bike! We had an amazing time on this tour! We ended up having a private tour just us and our guide Tarrin. The bikes were super easy to use and turbo mode was amazing for hills! Tarrin gave us so much interesting information and history about the area and the movies shot on the ranch. He really went above and beyond to help us take photos, answer questions and give us a good tour.Views are amazing !! Would definitely recommend

Hawk Kua (Must Do!) We had Tarrin as a guide and he was a joy. Knowledgeable and funny, he was very accommodating to everyone in the group.The ranch is just stunning scenery. It's hard to beat the natural beauty from the beach overlooks to the green mountains. It really feels like you're riding through Jurassic Park. The movie at props and such are very limited so temper expectations. Just lots of natural beauty. The e-bikes are the BEST tour type to select. You get more access, things go at the group's pace and you can spend time at each stop. They are also fun to ride and have an "easy mode" setting that makes biking accessible up most. There are height and weight restrictions so double check but they are made for most average humans. We've done many of the activities on the island and this is amazing. This is a MUST DO for tourists. You won't be disappointed if you seek scenery and adventure.

Well worth it A great afternoon spent exploring the valley and stunning scenery, it is truly spectacular. Highly recommend the E Bikes, as you get to see so much more, at a gentler pace, it is also the eco option and the bikes are easy to ride. Recommend.

Cannot recommend enough! This e-bike tour was one of our favorite moments of the trip. Our tour guide, Jessica, went above and beyond, stopping at all of the best views to take photos of each of us, and she even had a 360 camera to take videos of us all as we road. She was full of knowledge of all the filming and the history of Kualoa Ranch. You get to stop in an old WWII bunker that’s been converted into a film and tv show museum. Plus, there are a lot of props from different films where you can get photos. It was so much fun, just be prepared to get muddy!

Can I give the staff 6 stars? Hawaii didn’t disappoint! The scenery was amazing. The e-bikes top notch. But what made the experience 5 stars were the employees. From check-in to gearing up and heading out the staff were engaged in our experience. Communication was clear and relaxed. Christian (“cousin” for short) took time to talk to each of the riders in our group and energetically greeted other park guests and staff throughout our ride. I can not say enough about Christian: professional, yet fun and eager so provide whatever he can to make our trip great. He even shared a list of good places to eat. The novice ride itself was good and not too challenging - my wife and I are 60 but both have our own e-bikes and are familiar with them. My wife also has bad knees but thanks to “turbo” she did not struggle. Prepare to get a little dirty as the e-bikes don’t have fenders and mud is inevitable but not too sloppy. Christian, my mom was smiling. Thank you.

Best tour ! Absolutely amazing tour. Our guide, Fallon, was so friendly and fun ! One of the best tours we’ve ever done. The e-bikes were easy to use and the trail was great. Highly recommend !

E-bike tour Had a great time on this e-bike tour! It really is all fitness levels welcome, you still have control of the gears and can make the bike do as much or little of the work as you'd like. Was first thinking about doing the UTV tour. But glad we chose this one instead. Still got to some of the same sights but got to enjoy the grounds a bit more. Lily our guide was awesome. Super welcoming and knowledgeable. Makes you feel real comfortable on the bikes and even gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our vacation.

Needed a better tour guide Tour guide was not very engaging and did the minimum to get us through the stops. I expected her to give us more background on the ranch or some of the movies, anything to make the tour more colorful. She also seemed impatient with some who had trouble adjusting to thebikes.

Great Experience with eBikes We booked this after the UTV Tour sold out, but ended up having a wonderful time. My kids saw the UTVs go by and said they were enjoying the e-bikes more than they would riding in a UTV. That was great to hear because the UTV tours are always highly rated. We are a family of 4 with kids 12 and 14 years old. The e-bikes makes this effortless, so no need to be worried about your family keeping up. Will, our guide, was fantastic. We aren’t avid movie watchers and only saw the first Jurassic Park, so I was concerned we weren’t the target audience for this tour. Either way, you will still enjoy Kualoa Ranch. The scenery is beautiful. They do share some info about the films that used this location, and some brief WWII history, but that is no way the focus of the tour. It’s a gorgeous site to see with plenty of time to take photos of the family. I was also pleasantly surprised that there were no hidden fees - no photography upsells, no charge for a dry bag to house your personal belongings on the bike, and no tip requested at the end. We voluntarily gave a cash tip, but it certainly wasn’t expected or requested. Also, if you are a veteran, take advantage of their reduced rates for military. I would highly recommend this package.
