Your tour will begin at the 4,000-acre (1,619-hectare) Kualoa Ranch, situated on the northern coast of Oahu. Hop aboard a vintage bus with your guide to explore the expansive cattle ranch.

Hear commentary from your guide about the impressive list of films that have been shot throughout this landscape, such as 50 First Dates, Tears of the Sun and Pearl Harbor, and TV shows like Lost and Hawaii Five-O. See where a dinosaur chase took place in Jurassic Park and take a picture of Godzilla’s giant footprint.

Then, you’re off to Kaneohe Bay, Mokoli’i Island and the stunning mountains of Ko’olau Range, all of which were formed after the Ko’olau volcano erupted over 2.5 million years ago. The sparkling waters of Kaneohe Bay are also where Johnny Depp sailed aboard Queen Anne’s Revenge in Pirates of the Caribbean 4. RAWR 🦖 Your tour guide is too small to be a T-Rex! A small briefing at the meeting point before hopping on the bus. Our tour guide Carlos delivered some well put together “Dad Jokes” along the way but also some insightful history. Besides the history he provided some cool fun facts about the movie sites and took photos for us! Great day out with scenery that leaves you speechless. Mahalo Carlos and team! 🤙 Recommend for people of all ages. Make sure you have a water bottle and fully charged camera to capture all the magical moments!

I can't recommend it. The “must see” from the tourist office is greatly exaggerated. The filming locations shown are limited to a bunker and a large meadow with many panels on which film titles were written. The highlight were bones of a monkey and dinosaurs, which had probably been left as a film prop. For the bus ride, you had to be healthy. It went through potholes. The price-performance ratio I rate with the school grade 5-6. Poor to insufficient

Glad we decided to go! I didn’t know what to expect on this tour but glad we checked it out. Our guide really made all the difference with his humor and candor. We took the last tour (3:20pm) and were able to see the sites as the sun got low over the mountains. Definitely recommend this time of day

Classic movies in a beautiful location Our visit to Kualoa Ranch was good. My husband and I went to the movie sites tour while our kids went horseback riding. We spent a lot of time waiting for both activities. The bus picked us up at the hotel at 8AM but our tours weren't until 11:45 and 1:50. There is a cafe there so we grabbed breakfast which was good- hot food, not just snacks so we were ok for a while. Not much to do beside visit the gift shop and walk around a little. Tried to book additional activities to fill the time but everything was booked up. The movie site tour was fun. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and shared his stories about the ranch and movies. He made the visit fun and interesting. We had plenty of time to stop and take pictures along the way. Be sure to stop by the market. Plenty of things to buy and all raised on the ranch. Our kids enjoyed the horseback riding too. You can't beat the scenery here. So green and lush. Definitely worth a visit!

So many things filmed here They offer various tours and experiences. I did the movie tour on the bus. You see a lot of the ranch, but you only stop twice. The ride is bumpy so it can be difficult to take pictures. There's a large gift shop with restrooms and snacks & drinks.
