Aloha Kai Luau

Magical evening under the stars This Luau was recommended by our concierge from our hotel. I'm so glad she did as it was an incredible experience.
The views on the way to the Park are breathtaking and then there is the backdrop at the location of the Luau, just absolutely stunning.
The entire evening was magical and a true highlight of our trip. The food, the performances and the dancers made for a memorable evening.
I highly recommend checking it out.
I'm also a big Adam Sandler fan so it was an added bonus to be on a film location from 50 first Dates.

* Only con is not realizing we could've taken an earlier bus and explored the Sea Life Park prior to the Luau.

Wonderful evening entertainment Everything you expect from a luau. Great entertainment, activities food and an ocean backdrop.
The entertainment was really wonderful. Couldn’t fault it.
We took the transport option too and that was timely and well organised.

Island retreat Trip From Fiji Islands to Hawaii. Luau is a Polynesian tradition, Fiji is Lovo, Hawaii has Luau. Vibe was amazing, only thing missed was an around Kava.

Great Luau Amazing First time my Family from Canada attend Luau in Oahu, they were amazed by the great Dancer of Aloha Kai Luau. the moves was so graceful and they are all pretty indeed they like to watch again when they come back next year. they also like the fire dancer and the different islander.

A Warm Cultural Journey into Polynesia I have always wanted to attend a Luau, but was hesitant because I wanted to be sure I was being culturally sensitive as well as being budget friendly. My concierge told me Aloha Kai at Sea Life was a good choice for me. Staying in Waikiki I paid for transportation to and from the Luau and it was a great experience. A huge stunning air-conditioned bus arrived to take us. I also opted to arrive a few hours early to enjoy the free access to the Sea Life Attraction. The Hostess of the Luau was like an Auntie; warm, welcoming and informative. There is a point in the waiting area where folks that bought the photo and meet and greet and Lei package are taken up to a special area so if you are a Silver or Gold Ticket holder, keep an ear out.

We were greeted by a cast member and given some great instructions, I will say the Sea Life Park has issues with many of it’s audio speakers so with the large crowd it can be tough to catch everything said but don’t worry the Luau grounds has great audio.

The festivities begins on the Luau grounds with fun little interact stations highlighting life in Polynesia. The Tiki bar also opens at this time and the line has ebbs and flows.

Definitely check out the Tree Of Life Coconut Tree Climbing and the cooking/pig presentation!

Let’s talk food! This is a buffet style Luau, they serve in order by ticket level. Have no worries, there is plenty of food. The menu was tasty and there are some vegetarian options salad, veggie curry, string beans, roasted potatoes, poi, stir fried noodles, bread and pineapple upside down cake. The meat options on my night were Kailua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken and a very hearty white fish! My only not here, it’s a Buffett, plenty of food and a lot of people, the staff is fantastic but please due to the nature of the service be patient. The staff refills things as fast as they can. A few patrons were snapping fingers and were unreasonably impatient. The staff handled this like pros and were so polite!

The show is dynamic, informative and beautiful. Travel from Hawaii to Tahiti, New Zealand, Samoa and beyond with music, dance and informative narration.

These performers truly take pride in Polynesia. Their passion shines through all through the show.

As a single person attending alone I was a little concerned going by myself, my friends convinced me to not miss a cultural opportunity and I’m so glad I went!

Great luau! Our family had a fantastic time, especially our daughters, who were visiting the island for the first time and attending their first luau. They loved all the activities—we got tattoos, made flower wrist bracelets, and enjoyed every part of the show. The head male dancer was especially entertaining with his great sense of humor. We even got to take pictures with a few of the dancers after the show! We were pleasantly surprised that our daughter, who is allergic to milk, peanuts, and tree nuts, could eat almost everything except the ranch dressing, dinner rolls, and pineapple cake. It was also fun to learn that '50 First Dates' was filmed right there. We attended using the Go City pass, which made the experience even more convenient. Definitely book the round-trip transportation as it’s quite a drive from Waikiki, especially after a few drinks!

Best luau!! What an amazing luau!! Full of action and fun for the family. They have a bunch of activities for the little ones and tropical drinks for the adults. I recommend this luau a hundred times over!!!!

Luau dinner It was a great experience for our family visiting the island for the first time. They loved all the activities. We got our tattoos and made our wrist flowers for ladies.
The show was short of nothing. The fire show was our favorite.
The food and drinks were okay. It was good experience over all. The staff were amazing. We got to take pictures with a few of the dancers at the end of the show.

Incredibly expensive for an incredibly disappointing time We chose this luau on the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel - who mentioned it was the best choice. We thankfully decided to go a few hours early to see the Sea Life park - the dolphin show was the best part. The luau was incredibly commercialized, cheesy (the host kept going on and on trying to get people to laugh at his jokes) and the last fore dance was the only enjoyable one. The pig they took out of the ground was completely for show and not what was served to us. The food was sub par at best - the pineapple coconut cake was the best part. I so s highly recommend you do more research as I have had friends who have gone to much much better ones for a lot less money.
